Let’s get this show on the road

Celebrate the glitz and the glamour of the farming world in Norfolk

Nevermind who won the Brits or who’s entering the next Strictly Come Dancing … the search is on for the next best thing in the world of farming!

It may not sound as glamorous and there may be a lot less sequins involved, but there are some real farming stars out there in Norfolk and the RSPB wants to know who they are.

The Nature of Farming Award celebrates the fantastic work farmers from all over the UK are already doing for wildlife - with a top prize of £1,000 for the very best!

It is a race against the clock to get your nominations in for 2010 – you have until the 28 February to tell us why you think your local farmer deserves this honour.

It takes dedication and care to run a farm that creates terrific wildlife habitat whilst also being economically viable. That’s why we want to turn our local farmers into national stars.

Once again, we've joined forces with Countryfile magazine, Plantlife and Butterfly Conservation to look for the top farms for wildlife from across the UK.
Does your local farmer have what it takes?

All the details on how to enter can be found on the RSPB website at – http://www.rspb.org.uk/natureoffarming
