TITCHWELL MARSH RSPB COASTAL CHANGE PROJECT

We will be closing the west bank path to the beach during the late afternoon of Sunday 25 July.

At the south end, the path will be closed just north of the junction with Meadow trail and at the north end at the beach.

During the first few weeks of the path closure there will be no access to the beach, fresh, brackish or tidal salt marshes or Island hide. We are hoping to regain access to the fresh marsh and Island hide by mid-September with full access to the beach by the end of September. These dates are provisional and will be dependent on how the work progresses.

During the path closure period, the visitor centre and shop, café, fen and meadow trails and fen hide will be open as normal. Entry to the reserve will be free and there will be a comprehensive range of nature based events and activities around the accessible areas particularly on weekdays for families. All of these events will be free.
